Mrs. Lori Cagiao

My name is Lori Cagiao, and I am the High School Special Education Teacher for Springs Studio and Pikes Peak Early College. I have been in the field of education for over 30 years. I grew up, attended the University of Mary and began my career as a High School Special Education teacher in North Dakota. After spending 14 years living on a ranch and teaching in Las Vegas, Nevada, my husband and I returned to his home, here in Colorado Springs in 2004. My job experience has varied from teaching preschool up to 12th grade Instructional Coaching in literacy.  I have degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education as well as a Masters Degree in K-12 Literacy. I have been in Secondary Special Education in District 49 for the past 11 years. I have 2 cute little dogs and we enjoy going on long walks and shopping.
