About the Principal

Mrs. Amanda Pethtel

Amanda Pethtel earned her Master's Degree in School Counseling from Butler University and her Principal Licensure from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Mrs. Pethtel has 20 years of experience in K-12th grade education. She is excited to serve her tenth year at Springs Studio and her fourth year as the Principal! She loves being a part of the Springs Studio community and enjoys providing a rigorous, relevant, and personalized blended online educational model for 6th-12th grade students. She is an advocate for unique and individualized education and believes collaboration and positive relationships between students, staff, and parents are vital for student success. Mrs. Pethtel and her husband have two grown children: a son who served in the US Navy and a daughter who graduated from UCCS and is a medical lab technician. Mrs. Pethtel loves traveling with her family, playing volleyball, walking her dog, and enjoying time in the Colorado outdoors.
