Construction Program
District 49's Construction Program, headquartered at Patriot, partnered with the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs, Careers In Construction Colorado, and Falcon Community Builders for Classrooms, which made significant financial contributions to create a dedicated learning space for the construction program.
Students pair classroom learning with hands-on grit to bring a 1,200-square-foot house to life. In addition to the hard work of home-building, students will also pursue Career and Technical Education certifications, which will enhance their ability to join the workforce immediately after graduation.
